
In the Window 10 operating system, the users might have witnessed various types of ads popping up in the Start menu, lock screen, taskbar popups and also in the Windows Explorer. Many users find the ads annoying especially the ones popping in the explorer. Users are provided with an option to disable the ads in the explorer. Step 1
Select 'Windows Explorer Icon'
The first step for the user is to open the windows explorer. For opening the explorer, the user has to click the ‘Windows Explorer’ icon present at the taskbar or search for the explorer option in the start menu.

Step 2
Select ‘View’ Option
In the 'Windows Explorer Window', the user has to click the ‘View’ menu option located in the menu bar as shown in the below screen.

Select ‘Options’ Option
Once you click the view menu option, you will find many sub-options. Now the user has to click the ‘Options’ sub-option and then click the ‘Change folder and search options' as shown below.

Step 4
Click the ‘View’ Tab
You will find a folder options dialog as shown below. In the dialog box, the user has to click the ‘View’ tab option to customize the settings of the Windows Explorer.

Step 5
Disable the ‘Show the sync provider notifications’ Checkbox
In the view tab of the folder options dialog box, the user has to scroll down the various choices in the advanced settings section. Disable the checkbox for ‘Show the sync provider notifications’ to disable the ads in explorer in Windows 10.

Step 6
Click the ‘OK’ Option
Once the show sync provider notifications option is disabled, the user has to click the ‘OK’ button to save the option.
